The Nebraska Association of Homes and Services for the Aging for almost a half-century has served the needs of Nebraska’s not-for-profit facilities and services for our state’s elderly with representation and advocacy, educational and professional development, shared services and programs, and statewide leadership. To be eligible for membership, a facility or program must be either private charitable non-profit or publicly owned. There is a difference between not-for-profit and for-profit facilities and services, and it goes directly to their reason for existence. Our member homes and services exist for one reason only to provide quality services to their residents in a loving, caring, and supportive setting.
